MCV and its donors strongly believe that education is the key to every person's
future. Thanks to the help of many generous donors, Gracious Secondary School was opened on the MCV campus in 2004.
Gracious Secondary school currently has forms 1 through 3 (9th-11th grade), and form 4 (12th
grade) will be added in 2009. Currently the school has a total of 199 students (110 boys, and 89 girls).
The school is attended by both orphans and vulnerable children, and children from the general
public. Currently, 71 students are orphans/vulnerable children sponsored by MCV. These children would otherwise not
have the means to attend secondary school.
Gracious Secondary
School has well qualified and dedicated teachers, and marvelous facilities, (including sports fields and dormitories).
In 2007, Gracious produced the best Junior Certificate Examination results in the country. 44 out of 46 form two students
passed the JCE for a 96% pass rate.
Gracious
continues to grow and improve, and is well on its way to reaching its goal of becoming the best Secondary School in the country.
Gracious students do write their term exams and in each class we took the best five like in form one up to
form three, students are doing good in all forms lets look at these students in pictures.
