The first time HIV/AIDs treatment became available to the general public in Malawi was in 2007. It still requires monthly
visits to the hospital. The epidemic is adding additional stress to an already overburden system....
Now historical blood samples reveal HIV/AIDS was present in Malawi as early as 1982.
